Hey gang! So we’re a little bit behind schedule in sending this month’s newsletter out but there are a couple things we really want you to know about – two upcoming shows that are going to knock your socks off!
First up, March 3, we’ll be returning to Eddie’s Attic to be a part of the Amplify My Community fundraiser for Decatur Cooperative Ministries, a group that does a lot of good in our local community to end and prevent homelessness. And the fun part is, it’ll be a night of REM songs performed by some of the best local musicians around.
For $15 in advance and $18 at the door, you’ll get to see The Bitteroots take the stage twice for rounds of songs by REM with great performances in between by Eliot Bronson, Sydney Rhame, Kristen Englenz, Remey Williams, Chris Connelly & Marshall Seese and Amplify founder Mike Killeen. The songs span REM’s eras on both IRS and Warner Bros. Records so we’re digging deep into their massive catalog.
While that will kick March off, we’ll be winding up the month in downtown Covington, Georgia, March 25 with our return to the Irish Bred Pub, a great room in beautiful town atop an historic building.
Covington also happens to be the hometown of our own Bill Taylor, so the gig will be a homecoming of sorts that we hope to see you all at. The last time we were there we saw a lot of friends and made some new ones while burning through what was probably more than 2 ½ hours of music, so we can’t wait to get back in there and entertain and have a good time.

We are also delighted to announce that at the end of April, we’ll be playing one of the premier art and music festivals in Atlanta, the Inman Park Festival and Tour of Homes.
Inman Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 29 and 30 for the festival. We’ll hit the Euclid Avenue Stage from 1-2 p.m. April 29 to entertain the crowd just before the parade.
It’ll be a great way to get in the mood for summer with some food, beverage, great art and great music so we hope to see you all there!
We've also added a few festivals to the schedule with stops at Woodstock Trailfest and the Chamblee Summer Concert Series.
That’s it for now but we do have a few more things in the works that we’ll be updating you on and announcing in the very near future. For now, thanks for all your love and support!
